May: Memorial Day weekend – we are closed Saturday and Monday May 25 and 27. 

Saturday June 1: Vivo Epee Open – we will have 56 fencers and registration is now closed.  Both men and women will fence together starting at 9:00am

Sunday June 2: Vivo Foil C and Under – we will have 32 fencers and registration is now closed.  Men and Women will fence in separate groups, both starting at 9:00am

Saturday June 8: Vivo Intramural for ALL Beginner II and Intermediate fencers AND our teen/adult fencers! If you haven’t signed up yet – please do so here – scroll down under EVENTS.

Saturday June 15: Yes, we will have OPEN fencing 10am-12pm. AND it’s the first day of the Pomme de Terre competition at Brandeis

Mid-June:  You will receive your class assignments for Fall 2024!  That way you can plan your schedule.

Friday June 21: our LAST class of the season!

Saturday June 22: Our end of season AWARDS and PARTY!!!  4-6pm. Stay tuned for the invite!

June 22-June 26th:  Our Pre-Summer Nationals Camp.  This runs from Saturday June 22 through Wednesday, June 26th 9am to 3pm.  If you are going to Columbus, the camp is mandatory.  If you cannot come all of the days – email ann@vivofencingclub.com to register.

ALL competitive fencers are invited to participate and also support the approximately 35 Vivo fencers going to compete in Columbus, OH at the Summer Nationals.  We have added a group of younger fencers so that our Y10 and Y12 fencers who will be competing will have a good pre-event experience.  Questions? Ask the coaches. 

July 20-26th: Our sleep away camp still has availability.  We have already sent a reminder to the fencers who are invited to attend this camp in Avon, CT.  https://www.rocklandfencersclub.com/summer-camp

August 5-9: Our Summer Youth Camp is now consolidated to Monday August 5-Friday August 9th from 9am to 4pm with extended day earlier and later possible.  This camp is for our youth intermediate and Beginner II fencers. It will be held at the same time and dates as a NEW BEGINNER group – So, that means if you have friends who you think would like to start and attend a camp – they will be with you here at Vivo!  Please share the news.  You will be $50 off your camp fee!

August starts our Summer Evening fencing – 6-8pm on Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays

Week of August 18th:

Half Day (evening) Pre-Season Competitive Camp. Monday August 18-Friday August 23 from 5:00-8:00pm.  It’s critical to get back in shape and prep for those early season competitions like!
