RECREATIONAL TEEN/ADULT FENCING: DETAILS

gROUP cLASSES FOR rECREATIONAL foil
Teen/Adult Recreational Foil Fencing. This is a twice a week hour-long class for recreational teens/adults. Wednesdays and Fridays 8:15-9:15pm - NOTE NEW TIME!
Monthly group class fees are $175. These are auto-charged at the beginning of each month.
Annual Ltd. Club membership of $175 also applies. This is charged at registration.
Recreational fencers are asked to buy one of our equipment packages: $170 for the basics without a foil or bag or $280 with foil and bag. Please the details below and click to let us know your preference.
GROUP CLASSES FOR RECREATIONAL EPEE
Teen/Adult Recreational Épée Fencing. This is a twice a week class that meets for two hours: Mon/Wed 7:15-9:15pm.
Monthly group class fees are $225 (these are two hour-long classes). These are auto-charged at the beginning of each month.
Annual Ltd. Club membership of $175 also applies. This is charged at registration.

USA Fencing Association membership is REQUIRED. renew directly please.
Non-competitive membership is now $15/year, August – July.
We sign up the beginners – but once you are an intermediate – it’s your responsibility to renew. Some of you who started at the end of last season have been grandfathered. Equipment PACKAGES
Recreational fencing has an equipment requirement. We have most of the equipment at the club and can outfit your fencer with the right size. We will charge you upon delivery.
There are several options: Please click here and fill out your preference so that we can be ready for you the first day of class!
Package I: Mask, glove, underarm protector, plastic chest plate and body cord $170.
Package II: Adds a weapon (foil or epee) and a fencing bag $280. total. Or you can add them later for $110
We will continue to lend you a jacket. IF you would like a “full kit” with jacket, knickers and socks - do let us know.
JUMP ROPE AND SHOES
We’d like all of the fencers to come with a jump rope in their bag. You can choose which one!
PLUS Indoor court shoes. They are the BEST for fencing and mean that everyone’s feets are protected and ready for their best fencing moves. We prefer WHITE with stripes vs. dark colors, if possible. Here are some examples:
