Kornel Udvarhelyi joined Vivo after serving as Coach of the U.S. Men's Epee Olympic Team in Tokyo 2020/2021. For the past 20 years, Udvarhelyi lived in New York City, where he most recently coached at Fencers Club, in addition to his USA National Team responsibilities.

He has reunited with Vivo's head épée coach Arpad Horvath, who trained and won his world championship under Udvarhelyi while in Hungary. Kornel is a fencing master and former Hungarian National Team Coach.
