Our story

Since our founding in 2012, Vivo Fencing Club has been committed to one simple mission: to make the Olympic sport of foil and épée accessible, exciting, and life-changing. Our program is designed to meet you where you are and help you grow, and we’re proud to serve a broad spectrum of fencers:

  • Young children (ages 7+) taking their first step into fencing
  • Teens and adults discovering a new sport or returning to one.
  • Intermediate fencers growing their skillset and strategic play.
  • Competitive athletes striving for regional, national or international levels.

Vision and Mission

We believe fencing is more than just physical movement — it’s a sport of the mind, a test of discipline, and a source of lifelong lessons. For many students, fencing at Vivo becomes a launch‐pad for more than just sport.

Here’s what drives us:

  • Quality Coaching: We coach technique and growth.
  • Inclusive Environment: All ages and levels are welcome.
  • Structured Progression: A clear path from beginner to competitive.
  • Community & Confidence: Fencing builds focus, characters, and connection.
